TLDialer Lead IDs VS Lead IDs

There are two halves to the TLD system; the CRM front end and the dialer back end.

In order for a lead to be called, a dialer lead has to exist. Dialer leads get attached to the CRM leads. You can see the dialer lead that’s attached to the CRM lead by clicking on the chain link icon next to the lead ID. 

 

  • The dialer back end and CRM front end also have separate statuses for leads too. For example, the dialer back end has some automated statuses for dialer operations, such as AB - Busy Auto. This is a dialer status that is used when the system auto-dials a lead and gets a busy signal. A user won’t see this on the CRM side of things. This means that the lead can show as different things in the CRM or on the Dialer

  • One important thing to note with this is the flow of data. The CRM can read information from the dialer and can send commands to the dialer however the dialer cannot read CRM data and cannot tell the CRM what to do (it’s a one-way street). 

  • For example, if a Campaign is set to have a Called Count Limit and the lead was auto-dialed enough times to hit that limit this information will not typically be seen on the CRM lead. However “Called Count” on the dialer lead will show that the limit has indeed been hit, making the lead undialable.

  • This information is important because it will impact the way TLDialer Campaign behaviors and reports are utilized with TLD. For example, any report that is specifically looking at call data, such as the Call Logs or the Queue Logs will utilize the Dialer ID vs the Lead ID. This can be confusing. On these reports, when the filter is asking for the Lead ID it is actually asking for the Dialer Lead ID. Once updated, the ID listed on the report will reflect the Dialer Lead ID and not the CRM Lead ID

  • The Lead ID from the CRM will reflect the Vendor Lead code for the Dialer Lead.

  • The Dialer ID within the CRM will be listed as the Lead ID within the Dialer
