How to access TLMessenger/Text

SMS Opt Out & TLDialer DNC

We were recently notified about a new FCC Ruling related to SMS Opt-Out and Autodialing DNC Rules.

Due to the requirements from the FCC, if someone Opts Out from Text Messaging (Not Double Opt-In Opt Outs, only Hard Opt-Outs) the system will now add them to the Dialer’s DNC List.

The inverse is also true, if they re-opt in via SMS, they will be removed from the DNC.

the DNC Logs will show When and how they opted out, including if it was via SMS.

You can of course Manually Remove them from the DNC. Just remember, all DNC Additions and removals are logged in the system with a timestamp, reason and who added or removed them for auditing purposes

  1. TLMessenger is accessible in the bottom right-hand corner of any lead with a valid phone number

  1. Click on the blue chat bubble Icon to open the texting window.

  2. Type out your desired message and hit Send.

Important Note: We discourage copy-pasting where possible and keep messages minimal and small

  1. Previously sent messages will appear in this screen as part of the chat history

  1. To access Canned Messages that will populate with a desired message, click on the clipboard Icon next to the chat bubble at the top left  of the TLMessenger screen.

  1. Canned Messages can be created to include auto populate fields such as the customers name and Agents name. There are several options to customize each Canned Message

If an Agent tries to send a message through TLMessenger and receives an error stating "No Number found to send a message from" this means texting is not enabled on that agent/DID. Super Admins will need to address the need for TLM on a per User basis
