  • The Mailer can be configured on an account from Settings and selection Options.

By default, all emails are sent from noreply@tld.email. However, the client can opt to have messages reply to a specific email of their choice.

Additionally, clients can opt to include their own policy documentation such as the Opt-Out policy and the Privacy Policy that has been created in templates.

  • TLD has built in Privacy Polices and Opt-Out language. Clicking “Here” at the bottom of the explanation will open the sample policy for review.

  • Should a Client wish to use their own Privacy Policy a Template will need to be created under Media and selecting Templates.

  1. Opt Out - Selected from drop down, Client created Opt-Out message from Templates

  2. Privacy - Selected from drop down, Client created Privacy Policy

  3. Label - Client Display Name for Emails (Typically Clients Business name)

  4. Reply To - Where email replies are sent. By default all emails do not have a reply location.

    1. This means that the client will not be able to receive email replies until this field is set.

The configuration instructions do give a client the option to turn off the system created Opt-out link but this is Not Recommended.

The list of registered domains will appear at the bottom of the configuration screen. This info can be updated under Settings - Mailer, as needed, by the client. Additional domains must be activated by the Client to allow Mailers to be sent from them vs from our noreply@tld.email.

There are several types of Mailers that can be send by the Client. Templates MUST be created before this section can be configured.

  1. CSR - Emails can be sent when a CSR is Created, Assigned, and Completed. Not a frequently used feature currently.

  2. Policy Welcome Email - Default email that is sent when a policy is sold.

    1. If a Product, Lead, or Policy email trigger is configured that will send instead of the system default.

  3. Marketplace Welcome Email - Default email that is sent when a marketplace policy is sold.

    1. If a Product, Lead, or Policy email trigger is configured that will send instead of the system default.

  4. Policy Default Quote Email - Default email that is sent with a policy is Quoted but not sold.

  1. CSR - This feature is rarely used but can allow the Client to send an email any time a CSR is assigned or completed.

    1. Label - How the Client tracks the type of email sent (ie. CSR Assigned).

    2. Reply To - Where email replies are sent. By default the account will have NoReply until configured in previous step. This will be a secondary reply location.

    3. Subject, CSR Confirmation Email - The email subject line (ie. CSR Assigned).

    4. Template - CSR Confirmation Email - The predesigned Template for CSR assignment.

    5. Subject, CSR Completion Email - The email subject line (ie. CSR Request Completed).

  1. Policy Welcome Email - This mailer will send as a Welcome email for standard policies.

    1. Subject - The Email Subject line

    2. Template - The predesigned Welcome Letter Template

    3. Use Agent Email - YES the email will be sent from the Selling Agents email address on the users account. NO - the email will be sent from the account default (noreply@tld.email) or the email domain configured on the account.

    4. Use Agents Name - YES will use the Agents name. No will not.

  2. Marketplace Welcome Email - This mailer will send as a Welcome email for Marketplace (ACA) policies. (If a Product, Lead, or Policy email trigger is configured that will send instead of the system default).

    1. Subject - Marketplace email subject line

    2. Template - The predesigned Marketplace Welcome Email

    3. Use Agent Email - YES the email will be sent from the Selling Agents email address on the users account. NO - the email will be sent from the account default (noreply@tld.email) or the email domain configured on the account.

    4. Use Agents Name - YES will use the Agents name. No will not.

  3. Policy Quote - This mailer is sent any time a policy is quoted to a customer.

    1. Subject - Policy Quote email subject line

    2. Template - The predesigned Policy Quote email

    3. Use Agent Email - YES the email will be sent from the Selling Agents email address on the users account. NO - the email will be sent from the account default (noreply@tld.email) or the email domain configured on the account.

    4. Use Agents Name - YES will use the Agents name. No will not
