To create a new Vendor Source you will first need to know what Vendor Source the client wants you to clone and the Name of the new Vendor Source. Additional information the client might provide includes setting Inbound pricing, a cost per lead, or qualification times.

  1. From Leads select Vendor Sources

  2. Find the vendor that will be cloned and select the Clone Icon

Locate the newly created clone (you may have to press “Go”) and either double click or select the orange Vendor ID to edit.

  1. Under General Configurations, make the following changes

    1. Name/Codename - The name of the new Vendor Source in all Caps and with a hyphen for spacing. If the client follows a convention for labeling vendors via name, try to continue this convention (find the pattern and run with it). When possible, include IB (inbound) or OB (outbound) before the Vendor’s name.

  1. Description - The name of the Vendor Source, standard spacing and punctuation

  1. Public Label - The Vendor Source name Users will see when a lead comes in (not all clients use this feature, agents can turn into a weapon against the agency through favoritism).

  1. Note: Under General Configuration there is also a place for Price. This would only be if a Client wants to assign a price to the lead regardless of the Buffer time; typically used for data vendor sources.

  • No labels
